{"id":16109,"date":"2017-08-28T12:55:20","date_gmt":"2017-08-28T07:55:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=16109"},"modified":"2017-08-28T12:55:20","modified_gmt":"2017-08-28T07:55:20","slug":"ppp-pml-n-cut-deal-over-nab-chairman-appointment-imran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=16109","title":{"rendered":"PPP, PML-N cut &#8216;deal&#8217; over NAB chairman appointment: Imran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>LAHORE, Aug. 28 (TNS):<\/strong> Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that a \u2018deal\u2019 was cut between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People\u2019s Party (PPP) over appointment of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman.<\/p>\n<p>Imran flayed NAB as well, stating that Asif Ali Zardari\u2019s acquittal in several cases was proof that PPP and PML-N had an understanding with each other. \u201cThey have held institutions hostage,\u201d said Imran. \u201cOur Ehtisaab commission caught our own minister,\u201d he said while addressing a press conference in the provincial capital.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to Zardari\u2019s acquittal, Imran said that this was the main reason why PML-N and PPP had joined hands to appoint the NAB chief. \u201cHad a JIT not been formed by the apex court, Nawaz Sharif would also have been acquitted,\u201d said Imran.<\/p>\n<p>Imran said that NA-120 by-polls are the test case for Pakistani people. The elections in the constituency would decide whether the country would \u2018change\u2019 or \u2018dacoits\u2019 rule\u2019 would continue.<\/p>\n<p>Imran Khan slammed the Election Commission of Pakistan for being a silent spectator as PML-N allegedly used government resources in campaigning for the NA-120 by-election. \u201cThis is not the Pakistan wherein the Sharif family does whatever it wants to do,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said securing victory in the NA-120 by-poll in Lahore was crucial and would serve as a test case for Pakistanis. \u201cPeople are being tricked through tall claims and fake promises in election campaign by the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) in the constituency.
