{"id":16426,"date":"2017-08-29T22:24:08","date_gmt":"2017-08-29T17:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=16426"},"modified":"2017-08-29T22:24:08","modified_gmt":"2017-08-29T17:24:08","slug":"mqm-files-resolution-in-na-against-census-outcome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=16426","title":{"rendered":"MQM files resolution in NA against census outcome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Islamabad, August 29 (TNS):<\/strong> Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Tuesday rejecting recent census results submitted a resolution before National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.<\/p>\n<p>MQM-P in its resolution stated that the data released will &#8220;not facilitate&#8221; the fair distribution of funds in the provinces.<\/p>\n<p>A delegation of the MQM, headed by Sheikh Salahuddin, submitted the resolution in the chambers of the NA speaker.<\/p>\n<p>In the resolution, the party maintained that the statistics for Sindh \u2500 specifically Karachi \u2500 were &#8220;controversial&#8221;, observing that the provisional data, as it stood, would prevent the fair distribution of funds under the National Finance Commission award.<\/p>\n<p>The party demanded the release of &#8220;clear figures&#8221; and asked that the matter regarding the results be presented for debate in the NA.<\/p>\n<p>The MQM, along with the PPP, has aired its concerns over the preliminary results of the national census, questioning the authenticity of the figures released by the statistics division.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, August 29 (TNS): Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Tuesday rejecting recent census results submitted a resolution before National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.
