{"id":28193,"date":"2017-11-01T15:29:28","date_gmt":"2017-11-01T10:29:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=28193"},"modified":"2017-11-01T15:29:28","modified_gmt":"2017-11-01T10:29:28","slug":"iranian-missiles-range-enough-to-target-us-forces-in-case-of-invasion-irgc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=28193","title":{"rendered":"Iranian missiles\u2019 range enough to target US forces in case of invasion: IRGC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TEHRAN Nov 01 (TNS):<\/strong> The commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says the range of its missiles is enough to strike American forces deployed to the region in case of any US aggression against Iran.<\/p>\n<p>During a conference titled \u2018A World Without Terror\u2019 in Tehran, the chief commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said Iranian missiles have currently a range of up to 2,000 kilometers based on the limits set by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is the capability to increase this range, but it is sufficient for now as the Americans are present within a 2,000-kilometer radius around the country, and would get a response in the case of any invasion,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The senior general, however, said \u201cthe Americans fear the consequences of a war with Iran, and are well aware that they would be the losers if such a war breaks out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jafari further pointed to US attempts to undermine Iran\u2019s national missile program through sanctions and economic pressure on the country, stressing, however, that such hostile measures cannot break the Iranian nation\u2019s resistance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN Nov 01 (TNS): The commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says the range of its missiles is enough to strike American forces deployed to the region in case of any US aggression against Iran.
