{"id":29129,"date":"2017-11-05T23:58:17","date_gmt":"2017-11-05T18:58:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=29129"},"modified":"2017-11-05T23:58:17","modified_gmt":"2017-11-05T18:58:17","slug":"15-million-people-of-karachi-missing-in-recent-census-results-sattar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=29129","title":{"rendered":"15 million people of Karachi missing in recent census results: Sattar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Karachi, Nov. 5 (TNS):<\/strong> Criticizing results of the 2017 census, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Dr Farooq Sattar said that 15 million people of Karachi population were missing in recent census results.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing public-gathering in Karachi, demanded that a fresh census be conducted that showed the \u201cactual population\u201d of Karachi and other urban centres of Sindh.<\/p>\n<p>He said the MQM-Pakistan was being deprived of 80,000 votes in the next elections.<\/p>\n<p>The rally was organised against the results of the latest census, which the party claimed depicted the population of Karachi less than what it actually was in a bid to violate rights of the country\u2019s economic hub.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis sea of people is demanding that census must be carried out again,\u201d he said, presenting a three-point resolution to the workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, the people of Karachi are demanding that correct head counts are carried out again to show the actual population of Sindh\u2019s urban areas,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s gathering demands law enforcers to recover the missing workers and supporters of MQM-P.
