Subsequently, one person was killed while another was injured.<\/p>\n<p>On Kala Bagh Road in Mianwali, a school van and truck collided due to low visibility, according to rescue sources. The accident left many schoolchildren injured.<\/p>\n<p>A van hit a tree in Muslim Kot, Bhakkar, leaving three injured, rescue sources said. The same number of people was injured when a truck hit a van in Chichawatni.<\/p>\n<p>Five, including two children, were injured when two motorbikes collided in Jahanian, Khanewal.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29164\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/7-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/7-7.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/7-7-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/7-7-696x398.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Besides road accidents, the\u00a0supply of electricity to many areas has been affected as power lines have been tripping due to dense smog.<\/p>\n<p>Due to various power plants being shut down, there is a likelihood of load-shedding increasing in the country.<\/p>\n<p>An emergency plan will be put into action to deal with the issues faced by power division, added a statement released by the power division.<\/p>\n<p>Residents of various parts of Punjab continue to face health and commutation problems as smog engulfs most parts of the province, including province&#8217;s capital Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE Nov 06 (TNS): One person was killed while over 15 were injured, including students en route to school, in accidents as commuters are having harrowing times manoeuvring their vehicles on smog-hit roads in different parts of Punjab.
