{"id":29632,"date":"2017-11-07T23:22:46","date_gmt":"2017-11-07T18:22:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=29632"},"modified":"2017-11-07T23:25:38","modified_gmt":"2017-11-07T18:25:38","slug":"taxi-drivers-stage-protest-against-online-cab-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=29632","title":{"rendered":"Taxi drivers stage protest against online cab services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Islamabad, Nov. 7 (TNS):<\/strong> Taxi drivers in Islamabad held a protest on Tuesday against the impact of online cab services on their livelihood.<\/p>\n<p>The taxi drivers marched from Zero point to National Press Club to register their protest.<\/p>\n<p>The drivers alleged that private online cab companies have affected their livelihood.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aQ9HDpJZtzU\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Cabbies complained that they pay tax to government but online cabs do not pay any taxes.<\/p>\n<p>The cab drivers are worried about their diminishing income and the rise of online taxi services, they said their potential income is continuously decreasing due to these ride hailing services.
