Quetta, Nov. 9 (TNS):<\/strong> FC Balochistan and intelligence agencies averted major terrorist bid in the province.<\/p>\n

According to statement issued by ISPR, through an Information Based Operation (IBO) conducted in Sur China , Zhob area near Pak- Afg\u00a0 border.<\/p>\n

A prepared Motor Cycle as IED (MCIED), hidden in a Nullah which was covered with bushes, recovered by the forces.<\/p>\n

Earlier on the day, Additional Inspector General (AIG) Hamid Shakeel Durrani among three officers embraced martyrdom in a suicide blast in Quetta\u2019s Chaman Housing Scheme.<\/p>\n

The blast occured when AIG Hamid was going to office from his house.<\/p>\n

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ramzan and driver Jalil Ahmed also lost their lives while nine other officers sustained severe wounds in the explosion, confirmed Senior Superintendent in Police (SSP) Operations Naseebullah.\"\"<\/p>\n
