{"id":30552,"date":"2017-11-13T02:14:47","date_gmt":"2017-11-12T21:14:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=30552"},"modified":"2017-11-13T02:14:47","modified_gmt":"2017-11-12T21:14:47","slug":"7-2-magnitude-earthquake-quiver-iraq-iran-and-turkey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=30552","title":{"rendered":"7.2 magnitude earthquake quiver Iraq, Iran and Turkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISLAMABAD, Oct 13(TNS):<\/strong> At least six people have been reported killed after a magnitude 7.2 earthquake shook Iraq on Sunday that was felt in parts of Iran and Turkey as well.<\/p>\n<p>The temblor at a depth of 33.9 kilometres (21 miles) was centered 32 kilometers southwest of Halabja, near the northeastern border with Iran, the US Geological Survey said.<\/p>\n<p>It struck the mountainous area of Sulaimaniyah province at 9:18 pm (local time) prompting the residents ran out onto the streets.<\/p>\n<p>In Iran, the ISNA news agency said that the earthquake was felt in several cities in the west of the country including Tabriz.<\/p>\n<p>In southeastern Turkey, the earthquake was felt \u201cfrom Malatya to Van\u201d.
