{"id":31950,"date":"2017-11-20T12:04:21","date_gmt":"2017-11-20T07:04:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=31950"},"modified":"2017-11-20T12:04:21","modified_gmt":"2017-11-20T07:04:21","slug":"at-least-17-dead-five-injured-in-khairpur-road-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=31950","title":{"rendered":"At least 17 dead, five injured in Khairpur road accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KHAIRPUR Nov 20 (TNS):<\/strong> A deadly traffic accident left at least 17 people dead and five injured in Khairpur, Sindh on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Police officials said a truck laden with coal was en route from Ranipur to Sukkur when it attempted to overtake a passenger van on the Shah Hussain bypass.<\/p>\n<p>ASP Rai Mazhar Iqbal told that the heavily loaded truck lost control while overtaking and fell on the van, which was on its way to Punjab from Karachi.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased and the injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital, Khairpur.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital&#8217;s medical superintendent,\u00a0Dr Ghulam Soomro, said two of the injured are in critical condition but efforts are being made to provide them with the best medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KHAIRPUR Nov 20 (TNS): A deadly traffic accident left at least 17 people dead and five injured in Khairpur, Sindh on Monday morning.
