The court has also issued a show-cause notice to Ishaq Dar\u2019s guarantor Ahmed Ali Quddusi and ordered him to submit reply by November 24.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NnR5JGdWer0\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As the hearing began on Tuesday, with a slight delay owing to the defence counsel&#8217;s late entry, Dar&#8217;s counsel,\u00a0Qusain Faisal Mufti, submitted the minister&#8217;s third medical report and pleaded the judge to grant his client exemption from appearance.<\/p>\n<p>According to the medical report one of the arteries of Ishaq Dar isn\u2019t functioning properly and the minister will have another medical checkup on November 29.<\/p>\n<p>However The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) special prosecutor Imran Shafique opposed the report and requested the court to declare Ishaq Dar absconder.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the NAB also submitted a report to Judge Muhammad Bashir regarding the non-bailable arrest warrants of Ishaq Dar in which it was stated that raids were conducted at Ishaq Dar\u2019s homes in Lahore as well as in Islamabad but the accused has escaped abroad along with his family.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning here that the accountability court had issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Ishaq Dar in the previous hearing, and had directed Ahmed Ali Quddusi to make sure that Ishaq Dar appears before the court on November 21.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Nov 21 (TNS): The accountability court on Tuesday declaring Finance Minister Ishaq Dar an absconder the Accountability Court on Tuesday rejected the minister\u2019s petition in which he sought immunity from hearing of assets beyond known sources of income reference.
