{"id":35009,"date":"2017-12-05T14:34:21","date_gmt":"2017-12-05T09:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=35009"},"modified":"2017-12-05T14:34:21","modified_gmt":"2017-12-05T09:34:21","slug":"islamabad-sit-in-agreement-made-somewhere-else-capt-retd-safdar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=35009","title":{"rendered":"Islamabad sit-in agreement made \u2018somewhere else\u2019: Capt (retd) Safdar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISLAMABAD Dec 05 (TNS):<\/strong> Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Captain (retd) Safdar said on Tuesday that the agreement between the government and a religious group taking out a protest sit-in in the capital was made \u2018somewhere else\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with journalists after his hearing at the accountability court, Safdar,\u00a0who is also the son-in-law of former premier Nawaz Sharif, said: \u201chad the agreement been with the\u00a0government, the protesters would not have waited for 22 days. The agreement was made somewhere else,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is unfortunate as in Pakistan, energy savers are in Lahore but the UPS is in Rawalpindi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that there was not only one hand; but \u2018many shoulders, hands, ladders, cranes\u2019 behind the religious group\u2019s protest against the government.<\/p>\n<p>Without specifically pointing towards any individual or institution, he said that prime ministers like Moeen Qureshi and Shaukat Aziz are wanted here but from now onwards such precedents won&#8217;t continue.<\/p>\n<p>The PML-N leader said that Nawaz was ousted from the premiership because he is \u2018Made in Pakistan\u2019, adding that as it is against the Charter of Democracy, he will not say anything against Pakistan Peoples Party chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPPP is a democratic party, I won&#8217;t say anything against Bilawal,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD Dec 05 (TNS): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Captain (retd) Safdar said on Tuesday that the agreement between the government and a religious group taking out a protest sit-in in the capital was made \u2018somewhere else\u2019.
