It seems this party has absolutely no empathy for the common man<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD Dec 08 (TNS):<\/strong> The Supreme Court of Pakistan dismissed on Friday the decision of the Lahore High Court (LHC) halting work on selected sites of the Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OD6ceRNmvfc\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The court accepted the appeal of the Punjab government and others against the LHC decision with conditions and ruled by a 4-1 judgment that it observed no illegalities in the multi-billion rupee project.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-32823\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/supreme-court3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/supreme-court3.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/supreme-court3-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/supreme-court3-696x398.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A five-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, had reserved its verdict in the case on April 17 this year. The bench included Justices Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Maqbool Baqar, Ijaul Ahsan and Mazhar Alam Miankhel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23722\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Orange-Line-Metro-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Orange-Line-Metro-1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Orange-Line-Metro-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Orange-Line-Metro-1-631x420.jpg 631w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Justice Ahsan read out the verdict whereas Justice Baqar wrote a dissenting note.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif\u00a0 while talking to the media after the court\u2019s decision said, \u201cHad the Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project not been delayed by the unwise and unthinking \u00a0PTI, it would have met the 25<sup>th<\/sup> December deadline set for the completion of the project, which is 10 to 15 days from now, and hundreds and thousands of youth, university students, laborers, industrial workers, lawyers, doctors, nurses, teachers, and dish washers would have benefited from it by now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20083\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/orange-line.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/orange-line.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/orange-line-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/orange-line-696x398.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Moreover, CM Shehbaz Sharif said: \u201cUnfortunately, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) vehemently opposed it. Their Lahore chapter party president Mr Waleed Iqbal filed a petition with the Supreme Court, and their lawyers made every effort to get this project cancelled. They possess Pajeros and Mercedes cars, but they had no compassion for the poor, commoners, workers and nurses living a very tough life.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23718\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/75-civil-work-of-Orange-Line-Metro-Train-project-completed.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/75-civil-work-of-Orange-Line-Metro-Train-project-completed.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/75-civil-work-of-Orange-Line-Metro-Train-project-completed-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/75-civil-work-of-Orange-Line-Metro-Train-project-completed-696x398.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis sort of mindset does not suit the PTI members and Imran Khan Niazi who have absolutely no regards, neither a conscious thought nor the empathy for the way of life of a common man.
