{"id":36250,"date":"2017-12-11T16:06:17","date_gmt":"2017-12-11T11:06:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=36250"},"modified":"2017-12-11T16:06:17","modified_gmt":"2017-12-11T11:06:17","slug":"promotion-case-to-grade-22-ihc-accepts-former-pio-rao-tehseens-petition-for-hearing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=36250","title":{"rendered":"Promotion case to grade 22: IHC accepts former PIO Rao Tehseen\u2019s petition for hearing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISLAMABAD Dec 11 (TNS):<\/strong>\u00a0Islamabad High Court has accepted the former principal information officer (PIO) Rao Tehseen\u2019s petition for hearing seeking court\u2019s order to endorse his promotion to grade 22 as assured by the Establishment division before it earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Amir Farooq will hear the case tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Advocate Qaiser Imam submitted the plea in the court on behalf of Rao Tehseen.<\/p>\n<p>The petition says on the 14<sup>th<\/sup> September the court ordered to consider the petitioner\u2019s promotion to grade 22.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23121\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/islamabadhighcourt.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/islamabadhighcourt.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/islamabadhighcourt-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/islamabadhighcourt-696x398.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It further says the Establishment Division before the honorable court had assured of considering the case of petitioner\u2019s promotion, but despite assurance it apparently did not consider the petitioner\u2019s name for promotion in the high powered selection board meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The petition says the Establishment Division\u2019s attitude amounts to contempt of court as it backtracked from the assurance given in the court.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24177\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/establishment-division.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/establishment-division.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/establishment-division-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/establishment-division-696x398.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The petition says the high powered selection board\u2019s meeting is going to be reconvened on 11<sup>th<\/sup> December therefore the court is requested to assure inclusion of the petitioner\u2019s name in the agenda of the selection board meeting for his promotion as promised.<\/p>\n<p>The petition also requests the court to demand the minutes of the last meeting of the selection board.
