Washington, Jan. 1 (TNS):<\/strong> The skull of an animal, belonging to the\u00a0family of extinct creatures known as\u00a0anthracotheres, has been found in\u00a0Sohawa,\u00a0<\/em>Jhelum District\u00a0<\/em>of Punjab province, an international science journal reported on Monday.<\/p>\n

The fossil weighs 10 kilogrammes and is one foot long. It is believed to\u00a0be 33 million years old, the reports added.<\/p>\n

It was found by Punjab University\u2019s research scholar Ghayyur Abbas and field guides Chaudhry Abid Hussain and Mehtab Khan. The fossil will be examined at the Punjab University.<\/p>\n

Sohawa is a\u00a0hotbed\u00a0for fossils, with many other discoveries made there in recent years.
