{"id":44305,"date":"2018-01-15T00:34:52","date_gmt":"2018-01-14T19:34:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=44305"},"modified":"2018-01-15T00:34:52","modified_gmt":"2018-01-14T19:34:52","slug":"family-of-slain-karachi-youth-rejects-detained-cops-claim-appeals-cjp-coas-help-bring-criminals-justice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=44305","title":{"rendered":"Family of slain Karachi youth rejects detained cops\u2019 claim, appeals CJP, COAS help bring criminals justice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KARACHI, Jan 15 (TNS):<\/strong> Family of Intezar Ahmed who was gunned down by anti-car lifting cell of police last night in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) have on Sunday rejected detained cops\u2019 claim of the youth been killed over a personal dispute with another group.<\/p>\n<p>The targeted vehicle hit the road divider and landed up on the opposite side: eye witnesses<\/p>\n<p>Grieving family of late Ahmed addressed a press conference in Karachi alongside a legal counsel and demanded Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar and Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa to help bring the criminals to justice.<\/p>\n<p>Preliminary reports suggest that the personnel of anti-car lifting cell shot at least 13 bullets and three of those hit the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Family and relatives mourn the killing in cold blood after late Ahmed s funeral prayer was offered in Karachi today<\/p>\n<p>While during initial interrogation, the personnel have maintained that the vehicle did not stop upon instruction which is why fire was opened.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, number of detained police has increased to six today after another two were taken in custody.<\/p>\n<p>Family and the legal counsel have expressed mistrust on police and have demanded the Army Chief and the CJP to take note of the incident.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI, Jan 15 (TNS): Family of Intezar Ahmed who was gunned down by anti-car lifting cell of police last night in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) have on Sunday rejected detained cops\u2019 claim of the youth been killed over a personal dispute with another group.
