{"id":55489,"date":"2018-03-06T16:00:44","date_gmt":"2018-03-06T11:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=55489"},"modified":"2018-03-06T16:00:44","modified_gmt":"2018-03-06T11:00:44","slug":"sindh-cs-asked-to-file-affidavit-in-plea-bargain-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=55489","title":{"rendered":"Sindh CS asked to file affidavit in plea-bargain cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Karachi, March 6 (TNS):<\/strong> The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday directed Sindh Chief Secretary Rashid Memon to submit a personal affidavit that the 477 officials, who had been reinstated in various departments after they entered into a plea bargain in corruption cases with the National Accountability Bureau, have not been given any charges.<\/p>\n<p>The court issued the orders while hearing the case against the corrupt officials who have entered into the plea bargain with the NAB after the anti-graft body launched an-anti corruption drive across the province.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the SHC had directed the chief secretary to submit a report about the action taken against the officials who were reinstated after they voluntarily returned the looted sum to the NAB.<\/p>\n<p>The Sindh chief secretary told the court that he has already submitted the report containing statements of secretaries of all departments.<\/p>\n<p>SHC Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M Shaikh directed the chief secretary to submit his personal affidavit affirming that no corrupt officials will be given charges as the head of any department in the province.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Karachi, March 6 (TNS): The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday directed Sindh Chief Secretary Rashid Memon to submit a personal affidavit that the 477 officials, who had been reinstated in various departments after they entered into a plea bargain in corruption cases with the National Accountability Bureau, have not been given any charges.
