{"id":55876,"date":"2018-03-09T22:27:33","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T17:27:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=55876"},"modified":"2018-03-09T22:27:33","modified_gmt":"2018-03-09T17:27:33","slug":"pakistan-couple-pleads-for-indian-medical-visas-for-ailing-minor-son","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=55876","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan couple pleads for Indian medical visas for ailing minor son"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>New Delhi, March 9 (TNS): Pakistani couple earnestly hoping for a phone call confirming their Indian visas so their ailing two-year-old son\u00a0Maier\u00a0can be taken to Noida, India for heart surgery, Indian media reported.<\/p>\n<p>They learnt of his cardiac issue a few months earlier and took him to\u00a0Aga Khan University Hospital\u00a0(AKUH), where\u00a0Dr Mehnaz Attique\u00a0recommended treatment in Noida, India, by Dr Rajesh Sharma, a paediatric cardiac surgeon, said Jawwad.<\/p>\n<p>AKUH also has paediatric cardiac facilities but Dr Sharma&#8217;s success rate is far higher.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dr Mehnaz urged us to take our son to India as soon as possible because his condition will deteriorate with time, and will soon start affecting his other organs,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Sharma took a keen interest in the case and issued the medical letter to facilitate the Indian visa. Jawwad completed the prerequisites and filed an application.
