New Delhi, March 13 (TNS): Veteran\u00a0actor and Samajwadi Party member Jaya Bachchan could be India\u2019s richest MP, Indian media reported.<\/p>\n
With declared assets worth INR 10,000 million, Jaya\u2019s estimated wealth exceeds that of upper house MP Ravindra Kishore Sinha who declared assets worth\u00a0 INR 8,000 million in 2014.\u00a0Jaya is an SP candidate for the Rajya Sabha polls. The party is a noted political force in Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>\n
Earlier\u00a0standing at\u00a0 INR 4,930 million,\u00a0her declared assets have increased since 2014. According to an affidavit, Jaya and husband Amitabh have immovable assets worth\u00a0over INR 4,600 million.\u00a0Their movable assets are valued at INR 5,400 million. The affidavit also revealed that the couple own INR 62o million worth of gold and jewellery. Amitabh alone owns jewellery worth Rs360 million.<\/p>\n
The duo also own an enviable fleet of automobiles of 12 vehicles.These include\u00a0a Rolls Royce, Porsche, Range Rover and three Mercedes. Amitabh also owns a Tata NANO and a tractor.<\/p>\n
The Bachchans own a 3,175\u00a0square metre residential property in Brignogan Plage in France. They also have properties in Noida, Bhopal, Pune, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Jaya owns a 1.22 hectare agricultural plot worth INR 22 million in Lucknow\u2019s Kakori area. Amitabh owns a three-acre plot worth\u00a0INR 57 million in Daulatpur area of Barabanki district.<\/p>\n
