{"id":56367,"date":"2018-03-13T23:57:05","date_gmt":"2018-03-13T18:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=56367"},"modified":"2018-03-13T23:59:33","modified_gmt":"2018-03-13T18:59:33","slug":"education-department-reduces-time-period-of-summer-vacations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=56367","title":{"rendered":"Education Department reduces time period of summer vacations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lahore, March 13 (TNS): Education Department decided to reduce time period of summer vacations across the province.<\/p>\n<p>During summer vacation, schools will be closed from June 8 and reopen on August 10.<\/p>\n<p>During holy month of Ramadan, schools will start at 7 o&#8217;clock in the morning and will close at 11:00 am.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Punjab government banned dancing at various school events, a statement issued by the authority said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the Punjab government has imposed ban at various school events across the province.<\/p>\n<p>The prohibition is for both government and private educational institutes in Punjab, the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring special occasions, such as competitions, parents day, teachers day and even orations there was a custom of students dancing on Pakistani and Indian songs, read a notification.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to government rules, dancing has been banned regardless of the occasion\u201d, it added.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Lahore, March 13 (TNS): Education Department decided to reduce time period of summer vacations across the province.
