Lahore, March 14 (TNS): At least six persons were martyred and 20 others including cops sustained injuries on Wednesday night in a powerful explosion at Raiwind, a suburb area of Lahore, official says.<\/p>\n

Four policemen including ASP among six killed in the blast.<\/p>\n

According to DIG operation Haider Ashraf, suicide blast occurred near Tableeghi markaz (preaching Center) at Raiwind.<\/p>\n

Official said suicide bomber on motorbike blew himself up at police checking post near Tableeghi markaz in Raiwind.<\/p>\n

DIG Haider Ashraf said that 20 people including 9 policemen wounded in blast.<\/p>\n

SHO and SIs among those sustained injuries in blast, Haider Ashraf said added that several vehicles damaged in the explosion.<\/p>\n

Rescue teams shifted wounded to THQ Raiwind and Jinnah Hospital Lahore where some injured are told in critical condition.<\/p>\n

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemned the blast and ordered an immediate inquiry into the terror attack.<\/p>\n
