Mardan March 17 (TNS):<\/strong> In yet another horrifying incident, a seven-year-old boy was sexually raped in Mardan.<\/p>\n

The police have arrested the alleged rapist and sent him behind the bars.<\/p>\n

Turo Police Station House Officer Wajid Khan told TNS that the alleged rapist, Zeeshan, has been taken into custody after he sexually assaulted seven-year-old Shah Faisal while he was returning home from a local seminary.<\/p>\n

According to the police official, the victim\u2019s mother had lodged a complaint with the police that the alleged rapist, Zeeshan, took her son to an abandoned place and raped him before fleeing and going into hiding.<\/p>\n

After registering the case, the police raided a hideout and arrested the alleged rapist, who was later presented before a local magistrate, seeking his physical remand. The magistrate gave the rapist into police custody on a two-day physical remand.<\/p>\n

The victim was sent to Mardan Medical Complex for a DNA test and the police were yet to receive the medical report.<\/p>\n

A few months back, seven-year-old girl Asma was raped and murdered in Mardan. Later, the police claimed to have arrested the suspect, Muhammad Nabi, who later confessed before a local court to have raped and murdered the young girl.
