New Delhi, \u00a0\u00a0May 06 (TNS):\u00a0Pakistan\u00a0Cricket Board’s (PCB) chief selector Wasim Bari on Sunday praised Indian skipper\u00a0Virat Kohli\u00a0for the latter’s proactive approach, Indian media reported on Sunday.
\nWhile lamenting at\u00a0Pakistani side’s inexperience which, according to him, may leave them handicapped against the English side in their home conditions, Bari appreciated Kohli’s decision of playing county cricket ahead of India’s Test series later this year in England.
\n“Indian captain\u00a0Virat Kohli\u00a0has been smart as he’s decided to play for Surrey in June to get acclimatized ahead of his team’s tour in the second part of the season,” ANI quoted Bari as saying.
\nWasim Bari said their touring side could face problems due to lack of experience and also pointed out that the Test series being a short one (only two tests) may not give enough time to\u00a0Pakistani players to acclimatize to the conditions.
\nThe Indian skipper was signed by the Surrey County cricket team this month. He will be playing three county championship matches in June.<\/p>\n
