Islamabad, May 9 (TNS): The Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment at Workplace Kashmala Tariq, along with Federal Ombudsman – Protection against Harassment team accompanied by Secretary Ombudsperson, Agha Ali Abbas visited the \u201cPakistan Sweet Homes, Islamabad\u201d to meet the children who lost their parents in the war on terror.
\nZamurd Khan (Patron in Chief) received the Federal Ombudsperson and briefed her about the facilities being provided to the children such as Education, Co-curricular, Boarding and Recreational activities.<\/p>\n

500 boys and 100 girls are currently living in \u201cPakistan Sweet Homes Orphanage, Islamabad\u201d. During her visit, Federal Ombudsperson also shared her views and ideas for the betterment of children to make their future brighter.
\nThe meeting was followed by the visit to the extended mosque with built-in library and study halls for students. After that Kashmala Tariq visited begum Shahida Ikram Memorial Complex. \u201cPakistan Sweet Home\u201d is a small built-in world for all those children who have lost their loved ones. Basketball court, Football ground, E-Lab you name it and they have it for their children. Great home is a residential area for patients that come from far away areas suffering from Cancer, Thalassemia and Kidney failures and are treated at a-class hospitals in Islamabad.
\nOne of the main purposes of the visit was to bring them on board with FOSPAH and offering them our resolve to promote their work hence becoming volunteers and partners in training children on sexual harassment.
\nThe Federal Ombudsperson introduced her organization, \u201cFederal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection against Harassment at Workplace, Islamabad\u201d to the working force of \u201cPakistan Sweet Homes\u201d. The meeting came to a conclusion that by collective efforts and \u201cOrphan Registration Act\u201d will be enacted to keep check and balance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
