{"id":64556,"date":"2018-05-10T12:25:14","date_gmt":"2018-05-10T07:25:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=64556"},"modified":"2018-05-10T12:25:14","modified_gmt":"2018-05-10T07:25:14","slug":"present-parliament-passed-record-133-laws-info-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=64556","title":{"rendered":"Present parliament passed record 133 laws: Info Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad May 10 (TNS):\u00a0 Information Minister, Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursday that the current parliament is the first one after 1977 which passed the most number of one hundred and thirty-three laws, Radio Pakistan reported.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with state-owned TV, she pointed out that most of these laws were related to improving human development indicators.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the steps taken to achieve Sustainable Development Goals, the Information Minister said our Parliament is the first one which established a secretariat on the SDGs in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>She said special units on SDGs have been set up in the Ministry for Planning.<\/p>\n<p>Marriyum Aurangzeb said the parliamentary task force having the representation of all the political parties is taking the ownership in achieving the development targets.<\/p>\n<p>She said these task forces on the SDGs also exist in the provincial assemblies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad May 10 (TNS):\u00a0 Information Minister, Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursday that the current parliament is the first one after 1977 which passed the most number of one hundred and thirty-three laws, Radio Pakistan reported.
