{"id":65308,"date":"2018-05-14T22:31:54","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T17:31:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=65308"},"modified":"2018-05-14T22:31:54","modified_gmt":"2018-05-14T17:31:54","slug":"atc-to-frame-charges-against-rao-anwar-on-may-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=65308","title":{"rendered":"ATC to frame charges against Rao Anwar on May 19"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"itemIntroText\">\n<p>ISLAMABAD, May 14 (TNS): The anti-terrorism court (ATC), hearing the Naqeebullah Mehsud killing case will frame charges against the accused Rao Anwar at the next hearing on May 19.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>Naqeebullah Mehsud, a 27-year-old native of Waziristan, was among three others who were accused of terrorism and killed on the orders of Malir SSP Rao Anwar, in what was later termed a \u2018fake encounter\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The suspended SSP was also brought to court today in high security, as were the other 12 accused. The investigating officer was also present in the court.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the victim\u2019s family submitted a petition citing their reservations over Anwar\u2019s detention in the Multan Lines in Malir Cantt instead of the central prison.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the suspects\u2019 counsel pointed out that the copy of the case is incomplete. The court ordered that complete documents should be submitted to the suspects\u2019 lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>Arguments pertaining to the provision of B-class jail facilities to Anwar and Anwar\u2019s bail plea will be heard in the next hearing.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Anwar had filed his bail petition, stating that geo-fencing and joint investigation reports and charge-sheet have contradictory information.<\/p>\n<p>The case hearing has been adjourned until May 19.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, May 14 (TNS): The anti-terrorism court (ATC), hearing the Naqeebullah Mehsud killing case will frame charges against the accused Rao Anwar at the next hearing on May 19.
