{"id":67914,"date":"2018-06-02T15:05:06","date_gmt":"2018-06-02T10:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=67914"},"modified":"2018-06-02T15:05:06","modified_gmt":"2018-06-02T10:05:06","slug":"ecp-to-challenge-high-courts-ruling-in-supreme-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=67914","title":{"rendered":"ECP to challenge high court\u2019s ruling in Supreme Court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ISLAMABAD, June 2 (TNS): The Election Commission of Pakistan in a meeting decided to consult with Supreme Court regarding the Lahore High Court\u2019s ruling over nomination papers.<\/p>\n<p>The Election Commission summoned an emergency meeting on Saturday to discuss the recent court judgments over changes in nomination papers and delimitation of constituencies.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to journalists ahead of the meeting, ECP\u00a0Additional Secretary Akhtar Nazeer said\u00a0\u201creturning officers across the country have been asked to not accept any nomination paper on June 3 and 4.
