{"id":68233,"date":"2018-06-06T20:14:56","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T15:14:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=68233"},"modified":"2018-06-06T23:38:50","modified_gmt":"2018-06-06T18:38:50","slug":"after-sc-verdict-ssp-jamil-hashmi-terms-law-of-pakistan-as-black-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=68233","title":{"rendered":"After SC verdict SSP Jamil Hashmi terms law of Pakistan as \u201cblind law\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, June 6 (TNS): SSP motorway Jamil Hashmi in premises of the Supreme Court not only insulted the judiciary but also termed the law of Pakistan as \u201cblind law\u201d.<br \/>\nThe Supreme Court maintained the sentences handed out to the eight accused in a case related to the manhandling of former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3CHX_-zmXf8?rel=0\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Following the sentence, SSP motorway Jamil Hashmi criticised the verdict saying &#8220;an innocent man is being punished&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-68241\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/1198451-chiefjusticehairsx-1528275120-306-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><br \/>\nHashmi, who was nominated as one of the accused in the case, upheld, &#8220;I have been sentenced over a fake news report.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe SSP motorway further said, &#8220;I was not even present at the site of the incident and this proves that Pakistan\u2019s justice system is blind.&#8221;<br \/>\nHashmi served as SSP Security Islamabad till March this year and was DSP Islamabad during the ex-CJP&#8217;s manhandling incident in 2007.<br \/>\nThe top court had given verdicts against sitting Prime Ministers but no one used such harsh words against Judiciary and constitution of Pakistan.<br \/>\nJournalist bodies, intellectuals and civil society members demanded the Chief Justice to take notice of contemptuous and anti-judiciary remarks made by senior police officer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, June 6 (TNS): SSP motorway Jamil Hashmi in premises of the Supreme Court not only insulted the judiciary but also termed the law of Pakistan as \u201cblind law\u201d.
