{"id":68560,"date":"2018-06-11T16:08:49","date_gmt":"2018-06-11T11:08:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=68560"},"modified":"2018-06-11T16:08:49","modified_gmt":"2018-06-11T11:08:49","slug":"pm-mulk-emphasizes-upon-swift-transition-process-in-fata","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=68560","title":{"rendered":"PM Mulk emphasizes upon swift transition process in FATA"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_68561\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-68561\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-68561\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/8228843861528714316.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"500\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-68561\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Prime Minister Justice (Retd) Nasir-ul-Mulk chairs a meeting of the caretaker Federal Cabinet at Prime Minister\u0092s Office Islamabad on 6th June, 2018.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Islamabad, June 11 (TNS): Prime Minister Nasir-ul-Mulk on Monday emphasized upon swift transition process in FATA to provide a sense of security to the people of the erstwhile tribal areas.<\/p>\n<p>Chairing a meeting to review progress on implementation of FATA Reforms in Islamabad today, he stressed upon the need for addressing the important administrative, legal and financial issues in this regard.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister observed that the merger of FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a landmark development promising positive impact on addressing the development lag and bringing a marked improvement in the lives of the tribal people.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was briefed about various administrative, legal and financial issues that needed immediate attention to ensure smooth transition of the merger process after the passage of 25th Constitutional Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>It was informed that agencies and FRs have been re-designated as Districts and Sub Divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the posts of Political Agents and Assistant Political Agents have been re-designated as Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was told that with the abolition of Agency Development Fund, collection of all taxes, levy and rahdaries has been stopped.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was informed that draft plans for extension of judiciary, policing, prosecution and prisons service in the Tribal Districts have also been prepared.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was informed about tax exemptions and other financial incentives that have been provided to the people of erstwhile FATA and PATA for the next five years.<\/p>\n<p>A Committee was also constituted under the chairmanship of Law Minister to formulate a strategy for removing bottlenecks and making the merger process seamless.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, June 11 (TNS): Prime Minister Nasir-ul-Mulk on Monday emphasized upon swift transition process in FATA to provide a sense of security to the people of the erstwhile tribal areas.
