Islamabad, July\u00a0 17 \u00a0(TNS): \u00a0Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry has urged Election Commission of Pakistan to conduct transparent elections in country.<\/p>\n
According to the details issued by party\u2019s Central Media Department Central Secretary Information Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Fawad Choudhary said that\u00a0\u00a0 ECP\u00a0 should \u00a0play its constitutional role in conducting free and fair elections. He stated that the concerns voiced by some journalistic and political circles regarding transparency of upcoming polls must be comprehensively analysed by ECP. He demanded ECP to brief nation over the veracity of these allegations and concerns. He further said that some parties including PMLN and \u201cself-styled\u201d champions of democracy are trying to hide behind the lame narrative of rigging after anticipating their defeat in the forthcoming decisive polls.<\/p>\n
For the first time in country\u2019s history, PMLN is in the field without its own umpires, he said. \u201cECP must explain whether it\u2019s an attempt to make general elections controversial\u201d, pressed Fawad Choudhary.
