MUMBAI, July 16 (TNS): Karan Johar and Kajol have been tied in a great friendship for 25 years that later materialized in a cold war.
\nWhile mostly they kept mum about the reason behind their fallout Karan In his biography An Unsuitable Boy revealed that he and Kajol never had a problem, it was between him and her husband Ajay Devgn. However, the director is clear that Kajol is a chapter that\u2019s over for him.
\nOne excerpt from the book said \u201cI don\u2019t have a relationship with Kajol anymore. We\u2019ve had a fallout. Something happened that disturbed me deeply which I will not talk about because it\u2019s something that I like to protect and feel it would not be fair to her or to me. After two and half decades, Kajol and I don\u2019t talk at all. We just acknowledge each other, say \u2018hello\u2019 and walk past.\u201d
\nWhen Kajol was asked about her ongoing cold war with Karan Johar, the actress said that relationships are \u201cgenerally difficult\u201d, be it in Bollywood or otherwise. But she maintained that she wouldn\u2019t like to divulge too many details about what went wrong between her and KJo. The fallout took place when Ajay Devgn accused Karan of paying Rs 25 lakh to sabotage \u2018Shivaay\u2019.
\nIt was after this that Karan mentioned in his biography that he was extremely pained and hurt by the turn of events. \u201cWhen she (Kajol) reacted to the whole situation and put out a tweet saying, \u2018Shocked!\u2019 that\u2019s when I knew it was completely over for me,\u201d he wrote in his memoir.
