After which WASA has imposed rain emergency in the city, and its MD Raja Shaukat along with other staff is present on the field to cop with any emergency.<\/h2>\n<h2>The \u00a0MD WASA said teams of WASA are draining water from low-lying areas of the city. According to WASA spokesperson, water is being drained from Committee Chowk under-pass. After torrential rains, many low-lying areas including Sadiqabad, Shamsabad, College Road, Committee Chowk, Servis road and others are engulfed by water.<\/h2>\n<h2>All the WASA staff including MD, are busy in water drainage from low-lying areas. According to Met Department, 60 mm rainfall in recorded in Rawalpindi as yet.
