{"id":72353,"date":"2018-07-18T20:53:53","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T15:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=72353"},"modified":"2018-07-18T20:53:53","modified_gmt":"2018-07-18T15:53:53","slug":"pakistani-navy-arrive-in-the-uk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=72353","title":{"rendered":"Pakistani Navy arrive in the UK\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>London, July 18 (TNS): The PNS Aslat, a Zulfiquar-class frigate from the Pakistan Navy, and her 280-crew entered Portsmouth Harbour on Wednesday to visit the Royal Navy.<\/p>\n<p>Over the next few days the ships company will be conducting numerous engagement activities with Royal Navy personnel and be introduced to the Royal Navy training facilities on the base and at HMS Excellent.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-72355\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/stream_img-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/stream_img-2.jpg 680w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/stream_img-2-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Captain Bill Oliphant, the Captain of Portsmouth Naval Base said: \u201cIt\u2019s fantastic to welcome the Pakistan Navy to Portsmouth \u2013 this is the first time we have seen them in the city for 13 years so this is a great honour.<\/p>\n<p>The PNS Aslat has been working off the coast of Tunisia and is shortly on her way towards Russia.
