{"id":73531,"date":"2018-07-25T21:25:03","date_gmt":"2018-07-25T16:25:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=73531"},"modified":"2018-07-25T21:25:03","modified_gmt":"2018-07-25T16:25:03","slug":"elections-2018-more-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=73531","title":{"rendered":"Elections 2018: More results\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Islamabad, July 25 (TNS): Counting of votes underway as Pakistan voted on Wednesday for the country\u2019s third consecutive democratic transfer of power.<\/p>\n<p>Polling began at 8AM across the country&#8217;s 85,307 polling stations and continued until 6PM despite calls by several major parties, including PML-N, PPP and PTI, to extend the polling time by an hour.<\/p>\n<p>As many as 12,570 candidates contested for a total of 849 seats of national and provincial assemblies in the country&#8217;s 11th General Election.<\/p>\n<p>Counting has now underway at the polling stations.<\/p>\n<p>According to unofficial, unconfirmed results:<\/p>\n<p><strong>PTI is leading in so far unofficially\u2026<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>PML-N leading in seven out of 52\u2026 but the results are still pouring in.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>For the National Assembly\u2019s 272 seats\u00a0<em>but<\/em>\u00a0polling was done on 270 seats because of polling delayed in two.<br \/>\nThe unofficial results coming in from polling stations are, in numerical order:<br \/>\nThe Election Commssion of Pakistan will release the official results much later.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NA-1<\/strong>\u00a0Chitral: PTI is leading\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>NA-2<\/strong>\u00a0Swat II: MMA is leading\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>NA-3\u00a0<\/strong>Swat: Sheryar Amir (PPP) is leading\u2026<strong><br \/>\nNA-4\u00a0<\/strong>Swat: PTI\u2019s Murad Saeed is ahead with 11,351 votes, ANP\u2019s Saleem Khan is second with 4,106 votes<strong>.<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nNA-5<\/strong>\u00a0Upper Dir: MMA\u2019s Sahibzada Tariqullah is leading with 3,986 votes, against 3,123 of PPP\u2019s Najmuddin Khan and 3,108 of Murad Saeed, in 23 polling stations.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-7<\/strong>\u00a0Lower Dir: Unofficial results of 28 polling stations are in. PTI\u2019s Muhammad Bashir Khan is leading with 6,300 votes. MMA\u2019s Sirajul Haq has 3,700 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-8<\/strong>\u00a0Malakand: PTI\u2019s Junaid Akbar is leading with 2,494 votes. PPP\u2019s Bilawal has 1,069 votes\u2026 results of 8 polling stations so far.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-9<\/strong>\u00a0Buner:\u00a0GGHS Korea result has PTI\u2019s Sher Akbar Khan with 281,\u00a0Rauf Khan of the ANP 239, Kamran Khan of the PML-N with 122, Istiqbal Khan of the JUI 93, Fanus Gujar of the AWP 38<br \/>\n<strong>NA-16<\/strong>\u00a0Abbottabad: PTI leading over PML-N\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>NA-19<\/strong>\u00a0Swabi: Waras Khan (ANP) leading over PTI\u2019s Usman Khan<br \/>\n<strong>NA-20<\/strong>\u00a0Mardan: Mujahid Ali of the PTI is leading over the ANP\u2019s Gul Nawaz Khan, and the MMA\u2019s Atta ur Rehman and the PML-N\u2019s Akhtar Nawaz, and Nawabzada Khwaja M. Khan Hoti of PPP.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-21<\/strong>\u00a0Mardan: Ameer Haider Hoti of the ANP is ahead with 2,128 votes. PTI\u2019s Muhammad Atif is second with 1,453 votes\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>NA-24<\/strong>\u00a0Charsadda: PTI\u2019s Fazal Muhammad Khan is leading with 2,508 votes. ANP chief Asfandyar Wali is second with 1,768 votes. These are the results from six polling stations only.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-27<\/strong>\u00a0Peshawar: Ghulam Ali (MMA) is leading..<br \/>\n<strong>NA-29<\/strong>\u00a0Peshawar: PTI\u2019s Nasir Khan is leading with 1,714 votes. Ameer Muqam of the PML-N is behind with 607 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-31<\/strong>\u00a0Peshawar: PTI\u2019s Shaukat Ali is leading, Ghulam Bilour of the ANP is close behind.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-32<\/strong>\u00a0Kohat Shehryar Afridi of the PTI is leading over the MMA\u2019s Gohar Muhammad<br \/>\n<strong>NA-35<\/strong>\u00a0Bannu: It is neck-in-neck here: 16 polling stations: PTI chief Imran Khan leading with 3,495 votes. MMA\u2019s Akram Khan Durrani second with 3,177.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-36\u00a0<\/strong>Lakki Marwat: MMA is leading\u2026<strong><br \/>\nNA-37\u00a0<\/strong>Tank: MMA is leading\u2026<strong><br \/>\nNA-38<\/strong>\u00a0DI Khan: JUI-F chief leading with 1,208 votes, followed by an independent candidate Waqar Ahmed Khan with 887 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-39<\/strong>\u00a0DI Khan II: MMA\u2019s Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman is leading with 3,869 votes against 3,451 for the PTI\u2019s Sheikh Yaqoob, according to the results of 20 polling stations.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-52<\/strong>\u00a0Islamabad: Tariq Fazal of the PML-N is leading with 726 votes. PPP\u2019s candidate is at second position with 522. These are the results from three polling stations.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-53<\/strong>\u00a0Islamabad-II: PTI chief Imran Khan is leading with 762 votes with 182 votes for PML-N\u2019s Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-54<\/strong>\u00a0Islamabad-III: PTI\u2019s Asad Umar is leading with 285 votes against 126 of PML-N\u2019s Anjum Aqeel.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-58<\/strong>\u00a0Gojar Khan: Raja Pervaiz Ashraf of the PPP is leading with 1,629 votes. PTI\u2019s Chaudhry Azeem has secured 1,261 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-59<\/strong>\u00a0PTI\u2019s Ghulam Sarwar is leading with 1,403 votes, followed by Chaudhry Nisar with 543 votes, according to the results of five polling stations.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-63<\/strong>\u00a0Rawalpindi: Chaudhry Nisar is second with 1,420 votes, while PTI\u2019s Chaudhry Ghulam Sarwar is ahead with 1,971 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-67<\/strong>\u00a0Jhelum: PTI\u2019s Fawad Chaudhry leading is with 3,456 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-68<\/strong>\u00a0Gujrat: PML-Q\u2019s Chaudhry Hussain Elahi is leading with 2,192 votes, followed by PML-N\u2019s Chaudhry Mubashir with 835 votes<br \/>\n<strong>NA-70<\/strong>\u00a0Gujrat: PTI\u2019s Fayzul Hasan is leading with 15,171 votes. PML-N\u2019s Jaffer Iqbal is second with 7,431 and Qamar-uz Zaman Kaira of the PPP is third with 5,110 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-73<\/strong>\u00a0Sialkot: Khawaja Asif of the PML-N leading with 2,500 votes. Usman Dar of the PTI is at second position with 2,000 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-78<\/strong>\u00a0Narowal: Ahsan Iqbal of the PML-N is leading with 7,357 votes. PTI\u2019s Abrarul Haq is second with 4,921. These are the unofficial results from 20 polling stations.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-81\u00a0<\/strong>Gujranwala: PML-N\u2019s Khurram Dastgir is leading with 33,550 votes. PTI\u2019s Chaudhry Muhammad Siddique has 22,410 votes so far\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>NA-88<\/strong>\u00a0Sargodha: Results from 12 polling stations show PTI\u2019s Nadeem Afzal Chan leading with 2,238 votes. PML-N\u2019s Mukhtar Ahmed has 1,585.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-95<\/strong>\u00a0Mianwali: PTI chief Imran Khan leading with 5,612 votes. Ubaidullah of the PML-N is second position with 1,556 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-102<\/strong>\u00a0Faisalabad: PTI\u2019s Malik Nawab Waseer is leading with 8,364. PML-N\u2019s Talal Chaudhry at second with 3,370 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-106<\/strong>\u00a0Faisalabad: In 10 polling stations: PTI\u2019s Nisar Jutt is leading with 2,125. PML-N\u2019s Rana Sanaullah is at second with 2,012 votes\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>NA-115 Jhang<\/strong>: ASWJ\u2019s Ahmad Ludhiyanvi who is an independent candidate is leading with 6,476 votes. PML-N\u2019s Waheed Alam is behind with 5,984 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-127<\/strong>: PML-N\u2019s Ali Pervez Malik is leading with 13,000 votes. PTI\u2019s Jamshed Cheema has 10,000 votes (30 polling stations).<br \/>\n<strong>NA-129<\/strong>\u00a0Lahore: PML-N\u2019s Ayaz Sadiq is ahead with 1,346 votes. PTI\u2019s Aleem Khan is just behind with 1,214 votes. These are the results from 4 polling stations.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-130:<\/strong>\u00a0PML-N\u2019s Ahmed Hassan is leading with 11,000. PTI\u2019s Shafqat Mehmood is behind him with 10,000 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-156<\/strong>\u00a0Multan: PTI\u2019s Shah Mehmood Qureshi is leading with 5,251 votes against 3,942 for the PML-N\u2019s Amir Saeed Ansari, according unofficial results of 20 polling stations.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-192<\/strong>\u00a0Rajanpur: Sardar Muhammad Laghari of the PTI leading with 928 votes. PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif trailing with 524 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-193<\/strong>\u00a0Rajanpur: PTI\u2019s Sardar Muhammad Leghari is leading with 928 votes. PML-N\u2019s Shehbaz Sharif with 524.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-200:\u00a0<\/strong>Larkana:<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>MMA\u2019s Rashid Soomro is leading with 4,931 votes. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto is behind with 3,675.<strong><br \/>\nNA-213\u00a0<\/strong>Nawabshah: PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is leading with 3,461 votes. GDA\u2019s Sheer Muhammad Rind is second with a mere 558 votes.<strong><br \/>\nNA-243<\/strong>: MQM\u2019s Ali Raza Abidi is leading with 416 votes. PTI\u2019s Imran Khan has secured 250 votes here.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-246<\/strong>\u00a0Lyari: Bilawal Bhutto is leading with 1,754 votes.<br \/>\n<strong>NA-249<\/strong>\u00a0Karachi: PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif is leading with 3,400.
