{"id":74390,"date":"2018-08-01T15:05:26","date_gmt":"2018-08-01T10:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=74390"},"modified":"2018-08-01T15:05:26","modified_gmt":"2018-08-01T10:05:26","slug":"shc-grants-stay-order-against-recounting-in-na-230-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=74390","title":{"rendered":"SHC grants stay order against recounting in NA-230"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HYDERABAD, August 1 (TNS): A stay order was granted by the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday against the recounting of votes in constituencies of NA-230, Badin.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Fehmida Mirza who was contesting the election in NA-230, filed a petition in which she challenged the vote recount in both the constituencies.<\/p>\n<p>Hyderabad bench of Sindh High Court summoned the concerned returning officer (RO) on August 03.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mirza defeated Pakistan People\u2019s Party (PPP) candidate Haji Rasool Bux by a margin of 860 votes in NA-203 in the July 25 election.<\/p>\n<p>She secured 96,875 votes while her rival bagged 96,015 votes.<\/p>\n<p>However, Chandio approached the returning officer (RO) for a recount of votes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HYDERABAD, August 1 (TNS): A stay order was granted by the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday against the recounting of votes in constituencies of NA-230, Badin.
