{"id":74868,"date":"2018-08-07T16:24:39","date_gmt":"2018-08-07T11:24:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=74868"},"modified":"2018-08-07T16:24:39","modified_gmt":"2018-08-07T11:24:39","slug":"ihc-reserves-verdict-on-transfer-of-al-azizia-and-flagship-reference-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=74868","title":{"rendered":"IHC reserves verdict on transfer of Al-Azizia and Flagship reference cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, August 7 (TNS): Islamabad High Court on Tuesday reserved the verdict on transfer of Al-Azizia and Flagship references to another court.<\/p>\n<p>Khwaja Haris, the Counsel of former premier Nawaz Sharif filed a plea in which he requested the court to shift the two reference cases to another accountability court.<\/p>\n<p>During the hearing the former supremo&#8217;s counsel said, &#8220;Tariq Shafi&#8217;s statement was used against Nawaz Sharif as a weapon&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Khwaja Haris further said in the proceedings, &#8220;The verdict was given against Nawaz Sharif in Avenfield reference on the basis of the documents submitted by his sons in Supreme Court and Joint Investigation Team&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nawaz Sharif has repeatedly stated that he does not own these properties&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz was earlier sent to Jail on July 13 after they were convicted in the Avenfield reference by the supreme court.<\/p>\n<p>The court has now reserved the verdict regarding the transfer of the references to another court.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, August 7 (TNS): Islamabad High Court on Tuesday reserved the verdict on transfer of Al-Azizia and Flagship references to another court.
