{"id":74871,"date":"2018-08-07T16:13:16","date_gmt":"2018-08-07T11:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=74871"},"modified":"2018-08-07T16:13:16","modified_gmt":"2018-08-07T11:13:16","slug":"pia-engineering-and-maintenance-department-achieves-another-milestone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=74871","title":{"rendered":"PIA Engineering and Maintenance Department achieves another milestone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Karachi, Aug. 7 (TNS): Pakistan International Airline&#8217;s Engineering and Maintenance Department has achieved another milestone by successfully completing a major check on one of its Airbus A320 aircraft, a statement by the national carrier said.<\/p>\n<p>According to PIA, the airline was able to complete the maintenance check through the expertise of its engineers who worked with complete dedication to perform the check within the planned time.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The aircraft rolled out with fresh paint and renewed cabin interior,&#8221; reads the press release.<\/p>\n<p>This is the third aircraft to have undergone the 12-yearly in-house check.<\/p>\n<p>The maintenance exercise will help the airline save over a million dollars, PIA said.
