Islamabad, August 8 (TNS):\u00a0 Pakistan’s star all-rounder Shahid Afridi will miss the sixth edition of Caribbean Premier League due to knee rehabilitation after suffering injury.<\/p>\n

Former Pakistani skipper, Afridi was picked by Jamaica Tallawahs for the sixth season of the CPL, along with his Pakistan and Karachi Kings teammate Imad Wasim.<\/p>\n

However, Boom Boom took to Twitter and announced that he will miss this year\u2019s CPL due knee rehab.<\/p>\n

Afridi further wrote in the tweet that he will cheer for his team and showed confidence over his teammate that he will fill the void.<\/p>\n

Apart from the superstar all-rounder, Pakistan\u2019s budding spinner Shadab Khan will represent the defending champions, Trinbago Knight Riders in the tournament.<\/p>\n

The experienced all-rounder Shoaib Malik and T20 specialist Sohail Tanvir will play for Guyana Amazon Warriors. Whereas, Mohammad Sami, Rumman Raees and Hussain Talat will be seen in St. Lucia Stars colours.<\/p>\n

The pace trio of Pakistan, Junaid Khan, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Irfan will run and bowl for Barbados Tridents during the tournament.<\/p>\n
