Prior to the series, they might be dealt with a massive blow as 25-year-old fast-bowler Pat Cummins is highly unlikely to feature in the Test matches owing to his long-lasting back injury.<\/p>\n<p>He last played competitive cricket back in March in the Aussies\u2019 away Test series against South Africa. He was thereafter listed to play in the IPL, but the stiff-back issue sidelined him. He also wasn\u2019t picked to play in Australia\u2019s ODI series and the one-off T20I against England followed by the T20I triangular series in Zimbabwe. Recently, he updated about his injury and also talked about his chances of playing in the\u00a0Pakistan\u00a0series.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s\u00a0no guarantees with injury, especially a stress fracture, It\u2019s something you have to be really, really careful with.
