{"id":75235,"date":"2018-08-12T14:15:14","date_gmt":"2018-08-12T09:15:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=75235"},"modified":"2018-08-12T14:16:14","modified_gmt":"2018-08-12T09:16:14","slug":"5-militants-apprehended-after-raid-in-jordan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=75235","title":{"rendered":"5 militants apprehended after raid in Jordan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Amman, August 12 (TNS): Security forces in Jordan have detained five militants as part of an ongoing man-hunt for suspects of a bombing attack that killed a policeman on Sunday, according to a government spokeswoman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFive terrorists are currently in custody of security forces,\u201d Jumana Ghuneimat said in a statement on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>A policeman was killed and six security personnel were injured in a bombing attack in the town of Fuheis, west of the capital Amman, on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Jordanian authorities said the attack was caused by an explosive device planted under a police patrol in the town.No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe operation is still ongoing with thoughtful steps to make sure that no civilians are threatened by the suspects,\u201d Ghuneimat said.<\/p>\n<p>The spokeswoman earlier said three security personnel had been killed during the raid.
