Islamabad, August 15 (TNS): The Supreme Court on Wednesday sought implementation report of\u00a0 the cabinet decision in Asghar Khan case within a month.<\/p>\n
Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar led a three member bench during the hearing of the case.<\/p>\n
The CJP questioned during the hearing that, \u201cThe cabinet had decided military court trial of army officers. Why the order has not been implemented yet?\u201d.<\/p>\n
On this the defense ministry’s representative told the court that he has not received summary of the order from interior ministry.<\/p>\n
He requested the court to grant four weeks time for the submission of detailed report.<\/p>\n
The court while approving his request maintained that if the court\u2019s order is not implemented, military authority will be summoned instead of defense ministry.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo one is above the law. The orders of the court should be implemented,\u201d remarked the Chief Justice.<\/p>\n
DG FIA informed the court that a telephone conversation was held with Mir Zafarullah Jamal and he has denied receiving money.<\/p>\n
Mir Hasil Bizenjo and Humayun Murree were busy in election and will now appear before the court, he added.<\/p>\n
The top court directed defense ministry to provide important information to FIA and adjourned the hearing until September 15.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
