{"id":76344,"date":"2018-08-26T14:14:48","date_gmt":"2018-08-26T09:14:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=76344"},"modified":"2018-08-26T14:14:48","modified_gmt":"2018-08-26T09:14:48","slug":"in-a-span-of-9-years-two-american-senators-die-of-the-same-disease-on-the-same-date","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=76344","title":{"rendered":"In a span of 9 years, Two American Senators die of the same disease, on the same date"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Washington, August 26 (TNS): Senator John McCain passed away at the age of 81 late Saturday, after suffering from a longstanding disease of glioblastoma a type of brain cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, another senator Ted Kennedy died from the same disease exactly nine years ago on the same date.<\/p>\n<p>McCain and Kennedy were diagnosed with glioblastoma, a type of brain tumour a year ago before they succumbed to the disease, Fox News reported.<\/p>\n<p>Glioblastoma roughly affects 10,000 Americans a year and is considered as &#8220;highly malignant,&#8221; according to doctors.<\/p>\n<p>Despite McCain and Kennedy belonging to separate political spectrum, the two senators reportedly shared a good relationship and were good friends.
