{"id":77559,"date":"2018-09-11T15:22:24","date_gmt":"2018-09-11T10:22:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=77559"},"modified":"2018-09-11T15:30:29","modified_gmt":"2018-09-11T10:30:29","slug":"karan-johar-reveals-cast-for-possible-kuch-kuch-hota-hai-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=77559","title":{"rendered":"Karan Johar reveals cast for possible &#8216;Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mumbai, Sept. 11 (TNS): Bollywood director\u00a0\u00a0Karan Johar revealed if he ever makes\u00a0<em style=\"font-weight: inherit;\">Kuch Kuch\u00a0Hota Hai\u00a02,<\/em>\u00a0he would cast actors Ranbir Kapoor,\u00a0Alia Bhatt\u00a0and\u00a0Janhvi Kapoor as the protagonists, reported\u00a0<em style=\"font-weight: inherit;\">NDTV<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Karan\u2019s 1998 directorial debut,\u00a0<em style=\"font-weight: inherit;\">Kuch Kuch Hota Hai<\/em>, featured the terrific trio of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and\u00a0Rani Mukerji.<\/p>\n<p>While hosting his radio show\u00a0<em>Calling Karan Season 2<\/em>, one of the listeners asked him about the possibility of the film\u2019s\u00a0remake and the actors he would rope in.<\/p>\n<p>To\u00a0this,\u00a0the film-maker responded, \u201cIf I made\u00a0<em>Kuch Kuch Hota Hai\u00a02<\/em>, I would cast Ranbir Kapoor,\u00a0Alia Bhatt\u00a0and\u00a0Janhvi Kapoor\u00a0in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Karan launched Alia in Bollywood with his film\u00a0<em style=\"font-weight: inherit;\">Student of the Year<\/em>\u00a0in 2012. Janhvi also made her acting debut with the film,\u00a0<em style=\"font-weight: inherit;\">Dhadak<\/em>, which was helmed by Karan\u2019s production house.<\/p>\n<p>Ranbir on the other hand, has worked with the film-maker in block busters such as\u00a0<em style=\"font-weight: inherit;\">Ae Dil Hai Mushkil\u00a0<\/em>and<em style=\"font-weight: inherit;\">\u00a0Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Karan is currently working with Alia and Janhvi for his upcoming star-studded periodic drama,\u00a0<em>Takht<\/em>.
