{"id":80272,"date":"2018-11-27T14:08:45","date_gmt":"2018-11-27T09:08:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=80272"},"modified":"2018-11-27T14:08:45","modified_gmt":"2018-11-27T09:08:45","slug":"president-stresses-for-resolution-of-all-regional-disputes-in-peaceful-manner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=80272","title":{"rendered":"President stresses for resolution of all regional disputes in peaceful manner"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"col-lg-8\">\n<div class=\"newsdetailcontent\">\n<p>Islamabad, Nov 27 (TNS): President Arif Alvi has stressed for resolution of all regional disputes in a peaceful manner.<\/p>\n<p>Opening the four-day International Defense Exhibition IDEAS-2018 at Expo Center in Karachi on Tuesday, he said Pakistan desires peace and its weapons are not for aggression but only for defense purpose.<\/p>\n<p>He said our nuclear deterrence is also to ensure that nobody looks at us with an evil eye.<\/p>\n<p>Voicing concerns over the deteriorating situation in occupied Kashmir, President said Indian side cannot suppress voice of Kashmiri people through the use of brute force.<\/p>\n<p>President invited India to come to the negotiating table as war is not an option.<\/p>\n<p>Hailing the sacrifices of armed forces and the people in the war on terrorism, the President said the armed forces have secured the country from terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>He said our armed forces are the only organization which has the most experience in dealing with the menace.<\/p>\n<p>The President said Pakistan is building state of the art defense equipment including JF-17 thunder fighter jets, Mushshak and tanks.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed for further research in the cyber world and artificial intelligence to give a quantum jump to the defense industry.<\/p>\n<p>He said Pakistan offers business friendly environment for investment and the private sector should come forward for investment in production of defense related equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Arif Alvi said a strong and stable economy is also vital for defense of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to the Afghan refugees, the President said the world has forgotten them but Pakistan is still hosting them.<\/p>\n<p>Five hundred and twenty-two exhibitors from fifty countries will showcase their high-quality arms from today till Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Radio Pakistan Karachi correspondent reports that besides trade visitors, more than two hundred sixty-two high-level entities from China, Russia, USA, France, Germany, Turkey ,Poland and South Korea have established\u00a0 their pavilions at the EXPO Center to display their productions .<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-lg-4\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, Nov 27 (TNS): President Arif Alvi has stressed for resolution of all regional disputes in a peaceful manner.
