{"id":80732,"date":"2018-12-08T13:39:19","date_gmt":"2018-12-08T08:39:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=80732"},"modified":"2018-12-08T13:39:19","modified_gmt":"2018-12-08T08:39:19","slug":"countrys-laws-provide-equal-rights-to-women-shireen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=80732","title":{"rendered":"Country\u2019s laws provide equal rights to women: Shireen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, Dec. 08 (TNS): Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari says a bill to protect the rights of people with disabilities has been approved by cabinet which would be tabled in parliament in its next session.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a seminar in Islamabad titled \u201cHarassment faced by women with disabilities in Pakistan\u201d, she said there is a provision in the bill for establishing special educational institutions for the severely disabled people.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister said the government is committed to ensure equal access to educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p>She said the government would create awareness about the laws for people who are differently abled.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Mazari said the discrimination against women in Pakistan comes at family and society level not at state level as the country\u2019s laws provide equal rights to women.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, Dec. 08 (TNS): Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari says a bill to protect the rights of people with disabilities has been approved by cabinet which would be tabled in parliament in its next session.
