{"id":81978,"date":"2019-01-24T20:26:53","date_gmt":"2019-01-24T15:26:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=81978"},"modified":"2019-01-24T20:28:23","modified_gmt":"2019-01-24T15:28:23","slug":"sindh-police-approve-rs50000-marriage-grant-for-unmarried-personnel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=81978","title":{"rendered":"Sindh police approve Rs50,000 \u2018marriage grant\u2019 for unmarried personnel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KARACHI, Jan. 24 (TNS): Sindh Police have allocated &#8216;marriage grant&#8217; for the unmarried personnel in the force and also relaxed the conditions to avail the facility.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Welfare Board, headed by Sindh Police Chief Kaleem Imam, took several decisions in a meeting in view of giving relief to the policemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to AIG Welfare Dr Rizwan Ahmed Khan, out of 115, 000 policemen currently in the Sindh Police around 20,000 are single.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board approved the proposal of marriage grant of Rs 50,000 for serving officials (male\/female) on their first marriage only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/grant.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-81981\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/grant.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/grant-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tns.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/grant-696x398.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The board also waived off the condition of submission of Original Marriage Registration Certificate (Nikah-Nama) at the time of claiming of marriage grant. However, the applicant must submit original MRC along with copy duly attested by the concerned DDO within one month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To claim the grant, the official should provide his\/her service details, NADRA&#8217;s Family Registration Certificate (FRC) and wedding invitation card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal regarding marriage grant for the two children of such deceased police personnel who die during service has also been approved by the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, only the serving personnel were allowed to claim the grant of Rs 10,000 for the marriage of only one child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, under the new policy the amount has been increased to Rs 50,000.
