Islamabad, Feb. 12 (TNS): The World Radio Day will be observed on Wednesday to acknowledge the role of Radio in awareness and ameliorating life of the masses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year’s theme is “Dialogue, Tolerance and Peace”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this connection, News & Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan has organized a two hour long live show from five minutes past ten in the morning to twelve noon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tributes will be paid to the legends of radio who contributed in the glory of Radio Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his message On the World Radio Day, the United Nations Secretary General Ant\u00f3nio Guterres has also recognized the power of radio to promote dialogue, tolerance and peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said Radio is a powerful tool and even in today\u2019s world of digital communications, radio reaches more people than any other media platform.
