Islamabad, Jun 17 (TNS): Anti-polio campaign began in various parts of the country today.<\/p>\n

In Punjab, the anti-polio drive began in seven sensitive districts, including Lahore, Multan, DG Khan, Rawalpindi, Mianwali, Bhakkar and Sheikhupura. Over four point three million children will be administered anti-polio vaccine during the campaign.<\/p>\n

In Sindh, around 5.5 million children under-five years of age will be vaccinated against polio virus across the province. The campaign will continue for a week in all six districts of Karachi while it will end on Thursday in the remaining districts of the province.<\/p>\n

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, three-day anti-polio campaign is being carried out in nine selected districts, including Bannu, Lakki Marwat, North Waziristan, D.
