Islamabad, Oct 12 (TNS): Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the international media to highlight the plight of eight million people of Occupied Kashmir who are facing a brutal lockdown for the last over two months.<\/p>\n
Addressing the participants of a human chain formed at the Constitution Avenue Islamabad to express solidarity with Kashmiris, he regretted the wall-to-wall coverage of the Hong Kong protests by international media, and the relative silence surrounding the treatment of the people of Kashmir.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister said Kashmir is not a part of India whereas Hong Kong is a part of China, but the proportion of coverage of the Kashmiri people is very less as compared to the issue of Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister said we will continue reminding the international community that eight million humans have been locked up in Occupied Kashmir.<\/p>\n
He said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has committed a grave mistake and played his final card by illegally annexing Kashmir and such oppressive tactics will not subjugate Kashmiris’ just struggle for right to self-determination.<\/p>\n
