{"id":92618,"date":"2020-07-24T16:17:41","date_gmt":"2020-07-24T11:17:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=92618"},"modified":"2020-07-24T16:17:41","modified_gmt":"2020-07-24T11:17:41","slug":"gwadar-port-to-become-guarantor-of-development-in-view-of-strategic-importance-pm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tns.world\/?p=92618","title":{"rendered":"Gwadar Port to become guarantor of development in view of strategic importance: PM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad: July 24, 2020 (TNS): Prime Minister Imran Khan says that Gwadar Port will become a guarantor of development and prosperity in view of its strategic importance.<\/p>\n<p>Chairing a review meeting on the Ministry of Maritime Affairs in Islamabad, he directed to ensure early completion of projects related to Gwadar port.<\/p>\n<p>Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi briefed the meeting about performance of the ministry in the last 22 months.<\/p>\n<p>Appreciating performance of the ministry, the Prime Minister asked to ensure inter-ministerial liaison and regular consultation with all stakeholders to enable speedy implementation of ongoing and future projects under the ministry.<\/p>\n<p>Imran Khan directed the Ministry to give priority to projects that would bring employment, regional development and profit.<\/p>\n<p>Briefing the meeting about the implementation of the proposed roadmap of &#8220;Blue Economy&#8221;, the Minister for Maritime Affairs said that this sector was neglected in the past despite having immense potential in it.<\/p>\n<p>He said the present government is formulating a roadmap for the development of Blue Economy sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad: July 24, 2020 (TNS): Prime Minister Imran Khan says that Gwadar Port will become a guarantor of development and prosperity in view of its strategic importance.
