Islamabad: Aug 21, 2020 (TNS): The government has approved a project for promotion of science, technology, engineering and Mathematics education in four hundred higher secondary schools across the country. <\/p>\n
The approval was given at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Friday.<\/p>\n
The meeting was informed that the project will be executed with cooperation of universities and it will help to provide latest education to one hundred thousand children.<\/p>\n
The meeting was also informed about the progress made so far towards the establishment of Engineering and Emerging Technology University at the Prime Minister House.<\/p>\n
Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary presented a roadmap for building the capacity of the country in production and exports of medical equipment.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister commended the efforts of Ministry of Science and Technology for domestic production of protective kits, ventilators and other equipment during Covid-19.<\/p>\n
